Reformists push for reforms to gambling advertising targeting people online

Regulation

An alliance of organisations has launched a campaign calling for reform to gambling advertising in Australia.

Reverend Tim Costello from the alliance for gambling reform, argues that if the government can safeguard young people from social media. They surely can do the same when it comes to protecting the public from the dangers of gambling.

Now, an alliance of gambling-reform advocates are setting out to hold the Government to tackling the issue next year — with a campaign to make the issue a top priority.
