Operators across America just capped off the largest single-month revenue total in American sports betting history, as Arizona sportsbooks clinched a milestone month when they reported on Thursday.

Revenue in October was up 22% year-on-year a w state record of $791.2 million. Octobers’s nationwide revenue total of $1,374,605,330 knocked off the previous U.S. record of $1,310,946,263, set in January 2024.

Thanks in large part to 12 states and Washington D.C. that set new revenue records, the ninth month of the calendar year topped January’s historic performance, speaking to the betting volume that comes from the opening month of the professional football season in the Lower 48.
