Esportes da Sorte obtains injuction to operate in Brazil
Esportes da Sorte had its preliminary injunction request granted to operate throughout Brazil.
The information was initially released by Fred Azevedo, former casino director and influencer, and confirmed by Poder360.
Esportes da Sorte and which sponsors Flamengo, were left out of the initial list of companies authorized to operate in the country. The Prizes and Bets Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance announced, on December 31, 2024, a list of bets authorized to operate in the country, as published in the Official Gazette of the Union.
The authorizations were granted through ordinances that establish the validity of the operation of these companies for a period of 5 years. To operate, each of the 14 companies that received definitive authorization paid a grant of R$30 million.
