Danes’ gambling spend increased by 0.6 per cent in February 2025 compared to the same month last year. The total increase was driven by an increase in the spending on online casino.

While online casino saw a growth in February 2025 compared with February 2024, the statistics show a fall in the spending on betting, gaming machines, and land-based casino. 

The spending on lotteries in 2024 is included in this edition of the monthly statistics. It means that the total gambling spend on the Danish gambling market in 2024 sum to DKK 11bn. It is an increase of DKK 581m compared to 2023 corresponding to 5.6 per cent (2024-prices).
