Brazil regulators reinstate license of PixBet
PixBet is now able to operate once again in Brazil after a federal judge overturned its suspension, initially imposed by the Ministry of Finance’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA).
The suspension, announced on May 30, halted PixBet and six other operators for failing to submit required system security assessment reports, as mandated by Article 8 of Ordinance SPA/MF No. 722/2024.
PixBet claimed it had already submitted the required documentation and argued the suspension caused disproportionate harm to its reputation and financial interests. The judge acknowledged these concerns and allowed PixBet and its associated sites — pix.bet.br, fla.bet.br, and betdasorte.bet.br — to resume operations.
This follows a similar situation in April when PixBet was suspended and then quickly reinstated by another judge under similar reasoning.
