Betsoft Gaming Q3 roadmap revealed
Fernando Van Velzen, Head of Account Management, Betsoft Gaming.
How have player preferences for slots evolved so far in 2025? Are there specific features or mechanics that are standing out?
We are still noticing a love for Hold & Win, and a boom of the “Pots” mechanics in several of our markets.
From what you’re hearing, what do players look for first in a slot — theme, features, volatility, or something else?
It depends. Some geos love particular themes, some features are a hit globally across our player base. Some geos prefer lower volatility slots and other love crazy high wins with almost no hits on the base game.
Are there any particular mechanics (e.g. Hold & Win, Bonus Buy) that operators consistently request or highlight?
I previously mentioned Hold & Win, and now the Pots mechanic is very popular too.
What can you tell us about Betsoft’s upcoming roadmap — what types of themes or features can partners expect?
Our upcoming roadmap is packed with features and mechanics our players and clients have asked for, just like the aforementioned Pots mechanics and more Hold & Win titles.
Can you name a recent Betsoft title that exceeded expectations?
Ultimate Golden Dragon Inferno is the third title in our “Golden Dragon Inferno” series, and even though we expected it to perform decently, it smashed all our KPI’s and objectively has become our number one game by all measures.
Do you see any rising trends that are influencing game development in the second half of 2025?
There is a trend where operators are customizing their own instant and quick games, giving a more personalized brand experience to their players
Is there a noticeable shift in demand between classic slot experiences and more innovative or feature-packed games?
I think it is a balance of demand and also depends on the demographics. A lot of players prefer classic, simple games. Other younger players may have a need for different types of games with more features, challenges, or skill involved.
