The New York State Gaming Commission reported revenues of $330,165,964 in total online sports betting for the week ending August 3.

New York sports betting launched in the Empire State in January of 2022, ushering in one of the top betting markets in the USA today.

The day New York sports bettors have been patiently waiting (for years) arrived with incredible excitement. And, to nobody’s surprise, legal New York sports betting already shattered many handle and revenue records.

FanDuel and DraftKings still dominate the market, the pair generating almost three quarters of market revenue last month. The two remain close, with FanDuel still ahead at $61 million to its rival’s $52 million. But the gap is closing; DraftKings grew 10% last month, where FanDuel could only manage 3.5%.
