Oregon Lottery reports $57.3 million in sports wagers
18 Aug 2025
The Oregon Lottery has released the state’s sports betting revenue report for the month of July.
The lottery reported a 7% lift in wagering revenue with a total handle to $57.3 million.
Oregon bettors laid down 2% more wagers this July than a year ago, and the state’s single-operator sportsbook (DraftKings) kept 28% more in gross gaming revenue (GGR) thanks to an improved 11.5% hold rate. June’s performance generated about $0.64 million in tax revenue for the state.
Oregon runs one of America’s strictest single-operator systems. The Oregon Lottery awarded an exclusive contract to DraftKings, which replaced the Scoreboard app on 18 January 2022 and remains the state’s only legal mobile and online sportsbook.
