The latest monthly statistics from the Danish Gambling Authority shows that Danes’ gambling spending decreased in September 2025 compared to the same month last year.

The betting sector in particular experienced a larger decline. The figures show that Danes’ total gambling spend in September dropped by 0.9 percent compared to September 2024 to DKK1.9 billion.

The largest fluctuations in spending are seen in the betting market, which decreased by 34.9 percent, and land-based casinos and online casinos experienced an increase of 7.1 percent and 15.2 percent, respectively.
