New Hampshire gaming revenue tops $107 million in third quarter 2025
New Hampshire’s third quarter sports betting revenue marked a turning point for the sports wagering economy, with a record $90.9 million in total handle, the state posted its highest volume since launch.
The surge followed the return of NFL and NHL seasons and continued reliance on DraftKings, the state’s exclusive online sportsbook partner.
Online activity accounted for $81.6 million, or nearly nine out of every ten dollars wagered, underscoring NH’s uniquely streamlined model. Retail sportsbooks also recorded meaningful growth, reaching $9.3 million in handle—one of the best months of the year for in-person betting.
The combination of strong seasonal demand and steady user engagement produced a hold rate of 11.24%, generating $10.2 million in GGR and $4.0 million in tax revenue for the state.
New Hampshire’s single-operator structure remains one of the most distinctive in the country. DraftKings controls the entire online market and operates retail locations in partnership with the New Hampshire Lottery.
Despite the monopoly model, year-to-date performance shows a consistently engaged user base and comparatively high retention. DraftKings’ ability to centralize acquisition and marketing appears to contribute to stable long-term demand across major sports seasons.
