World Snooker Tour has confirmed Midnite as its UK betting and casino partner for the 2026 Johnstone’s Paint Masters, while also renewing the agreement for the World Snooker Championship next year.

The news follows a successful 2025 between the two organisations in which Midnite were the World Snooker Championship official UK betting and casino partner for the first time. During that tournament, Midnite delivered a programme of fan-focused on-site and digital activity.

This included the Midnite Maximum promotion, which offered a £25,000 prize linked to a 147 maximum break, and the Midnite Marathon competition, where one fan won the chance to attend every session across the 17-day event, alongside wider brand visibility throughout the championship.

The Johnstone’s Paint Masters is snooker’s biggest invitation event with a rich history dating back to 1975. It features the world’s top 16 ranked players and is held annually at Alexandra Palace in London.

The 2025 Masters was won by Shaun Murphy, who will return in 2026 as the defending champion. The 2025 tournament carried a total prize fund of just over £1 million, with £350,000 awarded to the winner, the highest first prize in the event’s history.

The two events form two-thirds of snooker’s Triple Crown, with the Masters running from January 11 to January 18 2026 and the World Championship from April 18 to May 4 2026 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.

Under the agreement, Midnite will receive brand exposure across the tournament environment and broadcast coverage, along with the partnership rights.

The partnership follows other recent Midnite sponsorships, including Sheffield United, Southampton and the All Weather Racing Championship.

Nick Wright, Co-Founder of Midnite, said: “We’re thrilled to expand our relationship with the World Snooker Tour by becoming the official UK betting and casino partner for the Johnstone’s Paint Masters, while also renewing our partnership for the 2026 World Snooker Championship.

“Snooker fans are some of the most passionate in sport, and being part of these world-class events is a fantastic opportunity for Midnite as we continue to grow our brand. Following a landmark year in 2025, we’re excited to build on that momentum and further strengthen our commitment to the sport moving into 2026.”

Peter Wright, Chief Commercial Officer at World Snooker Tour, said: “Midnite has shown a real commitment to snooker and to enhancing the experience for our fans, and their continued investment is a testament to the sport’s growing appeal. We look forward to building on this momentum together as we head into an exciting 2026 season.”
