The Arizona Department of Gaming announced that November saw a remarkable $965.2 million in sports betting handle, marking it as the largest month of wagering since the repeal of PASPA. Across states with commercial sports betting, a staggering $17.78 billion was wagered, setting an all-time record.

This figure, which does not include Nebraska due to its lack of published retail sportsbook totals, reflects a 9.4% increase from November 2024 and surpasses October’s previous high by $261.1 million. In terms of gross revenue, the total reached $1.92 billion—excluding Tennessee, which does not report its revenue figures due to its tax on handle.

This too set a new monthly record, rising 15% above the prior high of $1.67 billion from November 2024. The hold at 11.2% on gross revenue stands as the third-highest recorded in the first 11 months of 2025 and marks the sixth instance of reaching double digits.

Additionally, sportsbooks reported $1.8 billion in taxable revenue, contributing to substantial state tax receipts, with $464.3 million collected for state governments—thanks in part to varied tax rate increases implemented throughout 2025.
