Massachusetts sportsbooks saw impressive activity in April 2026, with a total of $678.4 million wagered, according to the latest report from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.

Online platforms dominated this volume, bringing in $670.7 million, while retail sportsbooks in the state’s three casinos accounted for the remaining $7.7 million. The gross gaming revenue from these sportsbooks reached $81.8 million, reflecting a 12.3% hold statewide and contributing $16.3 million to state taxes.

These high-level figures align with trends observed in established mid-tier US sports betting markets, indicating consistent performance typical of such mature markets. However, a closer examination reveals noteworthy insights.

The Commission provides a breakdown of monthly results by individual operator, and the data for April 2026 highlights a significant concentration: DraftKings and FanDuel together captured an astounding 75% of all online betting activity.
