Domestic Football in Northern Ireland has secured its most lucrative commercial agreement to date, with BOYLE Sports announcing a landmark three-year title partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League.

The deal, which is valued at more than £1 million, elevates BOYLE Sports from Official Betting Partner to Title Partner across the top three senior competitions in the men’s and women’s game.

The leagues will now operate as the BOYLE Sports Premiership, BOYLE Sports Championship and BOYLE Sports Women’s Premiership, while the bookmaker will also continue its sponsorship of the BOYLE Sports Women’s Cup.

The agreement comes at a time of growing commercial and sporting momentum for the Northern Ireland Football League. League officials reported record levels of viewership and commercial revenue during the 2025-26 season, with digital content generating more than 100 million views across league channels.

The deal further strengthens BOYLE Sports’ investment in sport across the island of Ireland. The company recently announced a new extended partnership with Galway Races.

The sponsorship will deliver extensive brand visibility across Northern Irish football, including placement on club playing kit, matchday signage, broadcast highlights, digital content, scoreboards and Player of the Match activations.

In tandem with this, a responsible gambling awareness initiative will be launched across NIFL clubs. The programme will utilise both matchday and digital channels to provide information on safer betting practices and encourage conversations about responsible gambling among supporters.

“Football in Northern Ireland has real momentum, and we’re proud to deepen our partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League at such an important time for the League,” said BOYLE Sports CEO Vlad Kaltenieks.

“Becoming Title Partner across the Premiership, Championship and Women’s Premiership reflects our belief in the clubs, supporters and communities that make the game so strong. This partnership gives us the opportunity to support that growth, elevate fan experience and use our platform to positively engage with fans and the wider football community.”

NIFL Chief Executive Gerard Lawlor described the agreement as a transformational commercial development for the league.

“We are delighted to extend our relationship with BOYLE Sports through this landmark title partnership,” he said.

“This is a major commercial moment for NIFL and reflects the growing strength and ambition of our competitions. BOYLE Sports has already shown real commitment to football in Northern Ireland, and this agreement will deliver meaningful value across our clubs, competitions and communities.”

While sponsorship revenue in the Irish football market has traditionally lagged behind that of larger European leagues, strong attendances, improved broadcast coverage, and increased digital engagement have made the NIFL a more attractive proposition for commercial partners, in the same way as the SSE Airtricity backed League of Ireland has in the Republic of Ireland.

The agreement provides another endorsement of the progress made by clubs and the league administration in raising the profile of the domestic game and creating a progressively sustainable commercial future for football in Northern Ireland.
