Play’n GO launches gothic horror slot Cursed Moon Power Collection

Play’n GO has launched Cursed Moon Power Collection, a gothic horror video slot built around coin collection, the Soul Fire Multiplier and Free Spins progression.

The release follows Dante, a vampire hunter cursed into becoming the creature he once hunted. Refusing the vampire creed, Dante sets out to destroy Dracula and reclaim his human form, with the game’s haunted forests, castle silhouettes and cursed moon backdrop giving the title its darker edge. Wolf, zombie, Mr Hyde and vampire symbols draw the horror cast directly onto the reels, while Dante’s revenge story gives the feature set a clear sense of escalation.

The slot begins on a five-reel, four-symbol grid, with way wins formed by adjacent matching symbols from left to right. At the centre of the game is coin collection: Coin symbols land on the middle reels, while Slay Collector symbols on the outer reels collect Coins and Instant Win symbols when they appear together. The Soul Fire Multiplier can rise when its symbol lands on reel five in the base game, adding an extra layer to collected Coin and Instant Win values without affecting pay way wins.

Cursed Moon Power Collection also builds through its five-level progression system. Level Up symbols can advance the meter in both the base game and Free Spins, with level features taking effect in Free Spins. As the meter rises, collection events can be doubled, stacked cash symbols can appear across the middle reels, and the top level introduces a guaranteed Instant Win symbol. Level Lock symbols in Free Spins can also save progression, allowing the feature to resume from a locked level in a later Free Spins round.

Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said: “Cursed Moon Power Collection has a strong link between story and structure. Dante grows stronger as he hunts, and the collection, multiplier and level systems echo that across the game. It gives the release a darker identity, with every core feature pulling towards the same sense of escalation.”
