FanDuel, the premier online gaming company in North America, announced a new slate of product experiences coming to FanDuel Sportsbook for the NFL season designed to give customers more control and choice over their rewards while bolstering their in-app research capabilities.

Following strong customer engagement during the NBA Playoffs and throughout the WNBA season, Bet Protect+ will now be available for wagers on NFL games, offering FanDuel customers more control when an injury impacts their player prop bets.

For just 3% of a wager, customers can choose to add full-game injury protection. If a player leaves the game due to injury and does not return, customers who enabled Bet Protect+ for a prop wager on the player will receive a cash refund on straight bets or have the affected leg of a parlay removed and the payout recalculated.

New for the NFL season, customers will have the option to auto opt-in to Bet Protect+ and can use the feature on bets funded with Bonus Bets. The My Bets page will also show impacted bets in real-time when an injury is confirmed, and customers will receive real-time cash settlement. Bet Protect+ puts choice directly in customers’ hands, offering greater flexibility and confidence to decide when to protect their bet.
