Lottery Corporation secures A$800m in inaugural AMTN deal to bolster funding flexibility

The Lottery Corporation has priced A$800 million in senior unsecured Australian Medium Term Notes via its subsidiary L&K Finance, split evenly between 6-year and 10-year fixed-rate tranches maturing in 2032 and 2036, with coupons of 6.326% and 6.825% per annum.

The proceeds, to be used for general corporate purposes including funding the extension of the Victorian Public Lottery Licence, are intended to diversify the company’s debt funding base, enhance balance sheet flexibility and support its long-term funding requirements as it deepens access to domestic and offshore debt markets.

Management highlighted strong demand from both domestic and international investors for this inaugural AMTN issuance, underscoring confidence in the company’s credit profile and its strategic direction.

By tapping an additional funding market and locking in longer-dated capital, The Lottery Corporation strengthens its capital management framework, which may improve financial resilience and support ongoing investment in core lottery operations and licence obligations.
