Delaware handled $17.2 million in August sports bets, up 9.9%, and its lottery-run structure converted a stronger hold into a 41.8% jump in net proceeds.

The state’s share rose 52.8% to $714,609, the largest increase of any figure in this report. In Delaware’s model, where the state keeps a majority of net proceeds rather than taxing a private operator, a good month at the windows flows straight through, and August was a good month.

Delaware offers full legal sports betting through retail sportsbooks at its three casinos and statewide mobile wagering, launched in December 2023.
