Entain keeps 2026 guidance as UK and Ireland revenues rise 8%
Entain plc reported a 2% increase in Group Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) for the third quarter, with online NGR up 3% driven by strong gaming growth, though partially offset by customer-favorable sports results and challenges in Brazil.
The company reiterated its full-year 2026 guidance, expecting online NGR growth of 4-6% and Underlying EBITDA between £910 million and £960 million, with the latter at the lower end of the range. Excluding Brazil, full-year online NGR growth is projected at the top end of 5-7%. The divestment of an initial 20% stake in Entain CEE remains on track for closure in the fourth quarter.
UK and Ireland net gaming revenue climbed 8%, with online revenue up 14% as gaming increased 17% and sports revenue rose 3%, while online volumes grew 15%.
Stella David, CEO of Entain, commented: “I am pleased with our Q3 performance which reflects the strength of our execution and reinforces the resilience of our globally scaled business as well as its ability to consistently deliver high-quality growth.
Both online and retail are important parts of our business and valued contributors to tax revenues and local communities. We strongly urge the UK Government to carefully consider any further gambling tax increases which would threaten the viability of many shops, jobs and livelihoods.
The underlying momentum we are seeing across our diverse portfolio supports our confidence in reiterating FY26 guidance. I am confident our disciplined focus on growth and optimisation will deliver strong future cash-generation, and that Entain remains well positioned to be a long-term industry winner.”
