Codere, a leading company in the private gaming sector worldwide, has announced today the appointment of Moshe Edree, who will lead the Online division and will report directly to the General Management of the Group.

Mr. Edree comes toghether with a team of professionals with years of expertise in the sector.

The appointment of Mr. Edree is part of the company’s new strategy, which seeks to boost online business as one of the pillars of growth and development within the European and Latin American markets in which it is present. Thus, Codere will strengthen its competitive position in this area, which is already present in Spain and recently started operations in Mexico and Colombia.

Edree, who has more than 15 years of experience in online gaming management, will be responsible for strengthening the current structure, incorporating new specialized talent in the management of the online betting and casino business, in line with the challenge that the company sets out.

In recent years, Moshe Edree has led the processes of growth and value creation of operators such as Ladbrokes and PartyGaming, which have had an impact on the increase in revenues and profitability of their businesses over the Internet.

Throughout his career, he has founded several successful companies in different fields – such as Intercontinental Online Gaming Group, or the Safecharge payment solution – and has been a member of the board of directors of several listed companies, such as NetPlay Plc or Iglobal Media Israel. Bachelor of Science from the University of Tel Aviv and Architecture from Pratt University (New York), Moshe Edree also holds an MBA from the University of Bridgeport (New York).
