Playtech has announced that it has completed the acquisition of 70.6% Italian gaming company Snaitech.

Playtech said that it has also separately acquired 9% of Snaitech’s issued share capital through market purchases, since the original announcement of the €846 million acquisition was made on April 12, 2018.

Therefore, Playtech’s holding in Snaitech is now at about 80%. Playtech further stated that will within the next few weeks it will launch a mandatory takeover offer for the remaining shares in Snaitech. Accordingly, Playtech expects to complete the overall transaction later this year.
