The Brazilian Bank of Economic and Social Development (BNDES) published on Thursday (27) the new bid notice of Exclusive Instant Lottery (LOTEX), qualified in the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI) at the 1st Council Meeting.

The new public sale is scheduled for November 29, at the headquarters of B3 (São Paulo). Bids must be submitted by November 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., also at B3.

The public agencies involved in the process are the Ministry of Finance, grantor and responsible for regulating the sector, and the BNDES, responsible for the development of studies and implementation of the bidding process for the concession. The term of the concession was defined by the Ministry of Finance in 15 years, and studies drawn up by the Bank have set a minimum grant value of R$ 542.1 million.

Part of the amount collected with federal lotteries is transferred, by legal determination, to social programs of the Federal Government. The funds are earmarked for education (Student Financing Fund for Higher Education), sports (Ministry of Sport, Brazilian Olympic Committee, Brazilian Paralympic Committee and soccer clubs), culture (National Fund for Culture), security (National Penitentiary Fund) and health (National Health Fund).
