Ladbrokes names new ambassador team
Ladbrokes have announced a new look line-up of ambassadors who will bring an unprecedented level of sporting insight and help take the fastest growing sports betting brand to another level.
Irish stars Kevin Doyle, the former Republic of Ireland and Wolves striker, and former Ulster, Ireland and Lions rugby player Stephen Ferris, will join Irish middleweight boxer Jason Quigley and jockey Paul Townend in what promises to be an explosive combination of sporting talent.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “This is a thrilling move and we’re relishing what they will bring to the Ladbrokes brand. Each of these stars had uncompromising attitudes in their sports and I’m sure they won’t pull any punches in their opinions.”
Commenting on the news, Paul Townend said: “I am looking forward to continuing my partnership with Ladbrokes and to be working with one of the leading companies in their field. As Willie Mullins’ new no.1 jockey, it is a really exciting year for me. We have a great team of horses this season and I will be keeping everyone up to date via my Ladbrokes blog.”
Rugby ambassador Stephen Ferris added: “It’s an exciting time for all rugby fans with the World Cup on our doorstep and I am looking forward to sharing my insights with Ladbrokes customers over what should hopefully be six incredible weeks of top class action.”
Talking all things football, Kevin Doyle, commented: “I’m looking forward to working with Ladbrokes and giving their football customers my thoughts on all aspects of what should be a fascinating and thrilling football season. There’s never any shortage of controversy or major talking points so it’s going to be fun airing my views through my weekly blog.”
Boxing ambassador Jason Quigley concluded: “I am delighted to be a part of the new Ladbrokes team and really appreciate their support as I continue my quest in becoming World Champion.”
