XL Media has as announced the appointment of an interim chair, following the official resignation of Christopher Bell.

Julie Markey, currently a non-executive Director of the XL Media and chair of its remuneration committee, has been appointed as interim chair while the board searches for a permanent replacement.

Bell announced his plan to resign from XLMedia last January after nearly eight years with the group, during which he supported the company through its IPO and helped deliver acquisitions, the company said at the time.

“Chris has been very supportive as we have sought to restructure to become more agile and align the business with new growth markets, an initiative we will complete during the first half of this year,” said chief executive Stuart Simms in the January announcement.
