Tabcorp Holdings announced that the Supreme Court of New South Wales has ordered, among other things, that a meeting of Tabcorp shareholders be convened to vote on a scheme of arrangement for the proposed demerger of The Lottery Corporation Limited.

Tabcorp Directors’ recommendation and conclusion of Independent ExpertThe Tabcorp Directors unanimously recommend that shareholders vote in favour of the resolutions to be considered at the Scheme Meeting and a preceding general meeting to approve the capital reduction required to effect the Demerger and other matters.

Grant Samuel, the Independent Expert appointed by Tabcorp to review the proposed Demerger, has concluded that the Demerger is in the best interests of Tabcorp shareholders.
