According to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC) latest report, Iowa casinos generated nearly $156.04 million in adjusted gross revenue. That revenue comes from poker, slot machines and table games.

It also includes physical sportsbooks inside Iowa casinos. As usual, slot machines were the biggest revenue generators for all the casinos in the state.

Throughout December, Iowa generated over $30 million in state taxes.

Iowa sportsbooks collected $26.25 million in revenue in December 2023, with: $23.56 million coming through online sports betting. $2.69 million coming from retail betting.

December revenue figure is almost a 29% annual increase and an impressive 86.30% monthly progress from November’s $14.01 million.
