New Jersey gambling revenue up 10% in April

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has announced the April 2024 total gaming revenue results.

Based upon filings with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, Casino Win for the nine casino hotel properties was $216.8 million for April 2024, reflecting a decrease of 6.3% when compared to $231.5 million reported in April 2023. Year-to-date Casino Win for the nine casino hotel properties was $872.9 million, a decrease of 1.6% compared to $886.8 million for the prior year-to-date.

For the month of April 2024, Internet Gaming Win reported by casinos and their partners was $187.9 million, reflecting growth of 18.2% when compared to $158.9 million reported in April 2023. For the year-to-date period, Internet Gaming Win reported by casinos and their partners was $750.7 million, reflecting growth of 21.1% when compared to $620.1 million for the prior year-to-date period. Sports Wagering Gross Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $106.2 million for April 2024, reflecting a 46.9% increase when compared to $72.3 million reported in April 2023. Sports Wagering Gross Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $434.2 million for the year-to-date period, reflecting a 48.6% increase when compared to $292.3 million reported in the prior year-to-date period. 

Total Gaming Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $510.9 million for April 2024, reflecting a 10.4% increase from $462.7 million reported in April 2023. For year-to-date, Total Gaming Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $2.06 billion reflecting a 14.4% increase from $1.80 billion reported in the prior year-to-date period.
