FanDuel gears up for the Kentucky Derby
FanDuel, Flutter’s largest brand and US market leader in online sports betting and iGaming, is off to the races for the 151st “Run for the Roses” with the #1 sportsbook app where fans can bet on the Kentucky Derby. With exclusive promotions, live coverage, and can’t-miss events, FanDuel is once again elevating the Derby experience for racing fans.
FanDuel, which has offered wagering on horse racing alongside traditional wagering with a single account and single wallet for over 2 years, makes it easier than ever to wager on the Kentucky Derby, the Kentucky Oaks, and every race throughout Derby Week. New FanDuel customers can take advantage of a $500 No Sweat First Bet through the FanDuel Sportsbook or FanDuel Racing apps, allowing them to get back up to $500 back as a racing bonus if their first wager doesn’t win. All existing FanDuel customers will receive a No Sweat Win Bet on the Kentucky Derby.
“The Kentucky Derby is one of the most historic sporting events in the world, and FanDuel is honored to be a part of it once again,” said Andrew Moore, General Manager of Racing at FanDuel. “We’re proud to be the first sportsbook that gives fans the ability to bet on sports and horse racing from a single platform, and we’re excited to use that access to bring new energy and excitement to racing’s biggest day.”
FanDuel TV is once again returning to Churchill Downs for around-the-clock coverage throughout Derby Week, delivering in-depth analysis, behind-the-scenes access, and expert commentary from some of racing’s most trusted voices like Todd Schrupp, Christina Blacker, Michael Joyce, Gabby Gaudet, Scott Hazelton, Andie Biancone, Matt Bernier, Simon Bray, Caleb Keller, Anthony Pascale, Caton Bredar, Joe Talamo, Maria Montgomery and the “voice of the Derby” Larry Collmus. Fans can tune into FanDuel TV and FanDuel TV+ all week to watch live racing coverage (excluding NBC-exclusive races).
“The Kentucky Derby is a cultural phenomenon on the sports calendar, and we’re thrilled to be back on the ground providing comprehensive coverage fans can’t get anywhere else,” said Michael Shiffman, Senior Vice President of FanDuel TV. “Our team of experts and insiders will bring the stories, the contenders, and the electric atmosphere of Derby Week to life.”
Emmy-winning host Kay Adams will also be broadcasting Up & Adams live from Churchill Downs on Friday, May 2, airing exclusively on YouTube from 12:00 – 2:00 PM ET. Kay will welcome celebrity guests and a front-row seat to the Derby excitement. Later that evening, the celebration keeps pace as FanDuel unrolls its iconic blue carpet for their second annual FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, headlined by country breakout star Shaboozey.
