York Racecourse and Sky Bet have renewed their partnership for the 2025 Sky Bet Ebor Festival, and are offering Yorkshire-based charities and good causes a chance to win up to £20,000 via a community sweepstake.

The Sky Bet Ebor Festival Community Sweepstake allows charities and good causes to apply to be matched with a runner in the Sky Bet Ebor Handicap, which will take place on Saturday, August 23.

Twenty-two charities will be shortlisted and paired with a horse through a live draw, to be televised on Thursday, August 21.

The winning horse’s charity will receive £20,000.

Second and third place will receive £5,000 and £2,000 respectively, while all other shortlisted charities will get £1,000.
