DraftKings adds “Early Exit” feature for sports bettors

Operator News

DraftKings Sportsbook announced it will launch a new Early Exit feature — a player-friendly initiative that protects bettors from having their bets ruined by injuries suffered early in a game.

The program intends to enhance the customer experience by issuing cash credits when a player exits a game early due to injury.

The feature covers pre-match wagers and full-game player props. For example, live props or first quarter props would not be covered under this program. Single wagers, parlays and same game parlays are under warranty with this new initiative.

“At DraftKings, we’re committed to delivering an exceptional fan experience while moving at the speed of sports,” Chief Product Officer at DraftKings Corey Gottlieb said. “That means a product that responds to every part of every game, including when a player exits a game early due to an unforeseen injury. With Early Exit, we are continuing to invest in an experience that is truly authentic to the way our customers consume sports.”
