TaDa predicts more than a riot in new DARKREEL™ slot, Big Boss

The real crime is not doing the time with this game!
Award-winning TaDa Gaming is taking a walk on the wild side with latest DARKREEL™ release, Big Boss. A dystopian prison is the setting in this five reels, three rows – with two locked cell special rows – slot where 243 paylines can expand to 3,125 for players who unlock the special rows for up to a max 10,000x.
Laden with as many features as criminals, when the positions above and below the main reels are unlocked, they may contain the Big Boss Collector and Fish and Elder prisoner cash symbols who bring generous multiplier wins.
The game design takes its direction from films like Escape from New York or The Rock where this is not punishment but survival. Symbols include knuckledusters, handcuffs, convicts and a prison guard, with fights, riots, breaking glass and an ominous back beat soundtrack adding to the febrile atmosphere.
The super smooth Big Boss is the Collector symbol who triggers the Protection Money feature. His skill is to collect the cash symbols – the bespectacled Fish prisoner and the white haired Elder Whale inmate, both of whom bring significant multipliers of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 30x; and 50x, 100x, 250x, 1,000x or 5,000x, respectively.
Riot, Chaos and Anarchy free spins rounds are triggered by the red warning light scatter. This also has a random multiplier of 2x, 3x or 4x to keep players on the edge of their seats while the Prestige Meter at the side of the reels is in play for every feature triggered.
With three levels to reach, each offering multipliers of 2x, 3x and 10x on collected cash rewards and extra free spins, it’s no wonder the criminals are fighting to stay in this penitentiary!
Three scatters make a Riot with eight free spins and six cells in the top and bottom special rows getting unlocked. Four scatters create Chaos with nine free spins and eight unlocked cells; while Anarchy is achieved with five scatters for 10 free spins and 10 unlocked cells.
Big Boss is the next step from the video game style symbols first showcased by TaDa in King Arthur and Arena Fighter, reinforcing cinematic direction for film influenced storylines. Delivering more realistic looking character symbols and embracing a darker theme, Big Boss provides an exciting new direction for TaDa fans.
Sean Liu, Director of Product Management, TaDa Gaming, said: ‘The DARKREEL™ series – beginning with NightFall Hunting – sees titles on the supernatural or dark side of life given a TaDa twist for immersive gaming experiences and big win potential. Big Boss takes this genre to a new level. You have been warned.’
Available in up to 25 languages and 100+ payment methods, Big Boss will be available to play from August 22nd 2025.
