Tennessee sports handle surpasses $650 million in October

Sports Betting

Tennessee sports betting yielded strong results in terms of revenue for October, as revenue toppted $650 million up 19% and a new record.

With upward trends in sports betting in the state, the number of online sportsbooks available is unsurprising. Some of the online sportsbooks that you’ll find in Tennessee include FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars, bet365, Fanatics, BetMGM, ESPN BET, and Hard Rock.

The newest of the bunch is bet365, which is one of the most popular sportsbooks globally, having launched in Tennessee on March 16, 2025.

Since the legalization of sports betting in Tennessee in June 2019, the state has seen over $14.7 billion in bets placed, generating over $261 million in taxes. Tennessee was the first state to go fully online for sports betting, allowing people to place bets online.
