Kalshi has been announced as the inaugural front-of-kit sponsor for all ten teams participating in the upcoming Baller League USA soccer competition.

This partnership marks another significant sponsorship agreement for Kalshi, which has reported an eightfold increase in trading volume on its platform since July.

In October, the NHL designated Kalshi and competitor Polymarket as its official prediction markets, making it the first major North American sports league to engage with this emerging industry. Since then, Kalshi has established additional partnerships with prominent news networks, including CNN and CNBC. In addition to the jersey sponsorship, Kalshi’s prediction markets related to Baller League will be incorporated into match broadcasts and displayed on in-stadium screens.

The company will also have the rights to stream Baller League games on its own channels and will feature branded streaming booths during matchdays. Range Sports, serving as a non-exclusive sales agency for Baller League USA, facilitated the Kalshi agreement, with Senior Director of Partnerships Sam Beckerman leading the initiative.

The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. The Baller League is part of a growing collection of nontraditional soccer competitions that have emerged in recent years, joining the likes of the Kings and Queens League, The Soccer Tournament, and World Sevens Football.

Ged Tarpey, Managing Director of Baller League USA and former Chief Commercial Officer for the Dolphins, indicated that the competition aims to secure six to eight partners prior to its debut in February. The front-of-kit sponsorship acquired by Kalshi represents one of the league’s two most prestigious sponsorship opportunities.

Discussions are currently underway regarding the other prime asset: branding at the center circle of the playing field at Tropical Park. “At some point, we will need to concentrate more on revenue generation and explore various revenue streams, and we are certainly considering these for long-term sustainability,” T

arpey stated. “However, our primary focus for season one is to identify the right partners, launch with them, and validate the business model. We have successfully executed this in Germany and the U.K., and given the talent involved here, we are well-positioned for success.”

The league is prominently represented by its president and team managers, who comprise a diverse mix of social media influencers, traditional celebrities, and former soccer professionals.

Notable figures include soccer influencer iShowSpeed, Brazilian soccer icon Ronaldinho, Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt, NFL free agent Odell Beckham Jr., comedian Druski, streamers Kai Cenat and AMP, and content creator xQc. Tarpey revealed that the league has received over 10,000 applications from prospective players, including former participants from leagues such as MLS.
