The Illinois Lottery generated sales revenue of $299.7 million and related prize expense of $114.7 million up 6% in February. 

The proceeds resulted in cash collections of $118.6 million from the weekly net sweeps of Lottery retailer’s accounts and net deposits from the iLottery platform. The funds collected were deposited in the State Lottery Fund.

The Department will be carrying forward a jackpot liability reserve balance of $23.1 million into the following month for the Lotto ($2.45 million), Mega Millions ($681 million), and Powerball ($69 million) jackpots.
