Lottomatica Group’s first-half revenue tops €570 million

Lottomatica Group reported second-quarter earnings that slightly exceeded market expectations, driven by continued strength in its online business, while reiterating its full-year outlook and maintaining confidence that earnings will land at the upper end of its guidance range.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 14% year-on-year to 230 million euros in the second quarter, about 2% ahead of consensus estimates cited by Jefferies.

The Italian gaming group posted second-quarter revenue of 578 million euros, up 6% from a year earlier and broadly in line with analysts’ expectations.

Still, the company’s shares rose marginally in Milan trading. 

Lottomatica reaffirmed its forecast for full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA at the top end of its previously announced 940 million euro to 980 million euro range, consistent with the current market consensus of 968 million euros.

The online division remained the standout performer, with revenue rising 17% year-on-year to 260 million euros and EBITDA climbing 24% to 152 million euros, beating consensus estimates.

Online EBITDA margin reached 58.3%, above the full-year consensus expectation of 57.3%, while the company continued to gain market share across online betting and gaming.
