Veikkaus will join The Gambling Industry Association Finland (Rahapeliala ry) on September 2, 2026. Veikkaus is a Finnish state-owned gambling company with a long history in the national gambling market.

Rahapeliala ry is a trade association founded in 2022 that promotes the creation of a responsible and sustainable gambling market in Finland.

The Gambling Industry Association Finland has done valuable and commendable work in preparation for the system reform. Gambling regulation is changing throughout Europe, and Finland is no exception. Therefore, it is a natural step for us to be involved in the industry’s advocacy together with other key operators. We want to do our part to strengthen this advocacy, and cooperation is crucial for ensuring the functionality of the future system. For us, it is also a key way to promote the common goals of the industry, says Olli Sarekoski, CEO of Veikkaus.
