New Hampshire sports wagers top $68 million in July

New Hampshire sportsbooks accepted $68.9 million in wagers during July 2026, generated $7,738,559 in gross gaming revenue, and remitted $3,320,812 in tax to the New Hampshire Lottery.

The headline shift was channel mix: online handle climbed to $76,710,052 (94.34% of all bets), while retail handle fell to $4,604,478 – down 35.55% from March 2025 and 42% from July 2025.

New Hampshire operates under a single-operator model, with DraftKings holding the exclusive online and retail sports wagering license through June 30, 2028 following a two-year contract extension exercised by the Lottery Commission.

Because the same operator runs both channels, the two-year shift in the channel mix reflects bettor behaviour within one platform rather than competitive substitution between brands – making New Hampshire one of the cleanest data sets in the country for tracking the structural decline of retail sportsbook volume.
