Arkansas sports handle hits $9.8 million in August

Arkansas reported $9.08 million in sports betting revenue, up 11.7%, with tax of $1,180,524 at its constitutionally fixed 13% first tier, exact to the rounding as it has been in every month on record.

August is seasonally Arkansas’s softest month, the same dip appeared last year, and the double-digit growth against it extends the acceleration that began when FanDuel and DraftKings entered the state in the spring.

With the market still developing, Arkansas bettors are beginning to see improvements in the overall mobile betting experience. As more recognised brands enter the state, the quality of sportsbook apps and features available to users continues to rise.
