Data-driven iGaming platform provider and games aggregator Vyking has built its own sportsbook on SportOS, the frontend-less sportsbook operating system from FIRST.bet, the Tier-1 sportsbook technology provider. Vyking’s product team designed and developed the entire player experience, with FIRST.bet running the sportsbook engine behind it.

Vyking owns the player interface and every decision about design and user flow, from the way markets are presented in play to how the bet slip behaves. That included building the mobile product where most betting happens, shaped around how players actually bet rather than around a shared roadmap.

SportOS is built for operators that want to compete through their own product. A supplier frontend remains a sensible choice for many businesses, but a business whose strategy depends on doing something specific to its markets needs to be able to build that and ship it. Vyking took the work on in full, putting its own design, frontend development and testing behind the product.

FIRST.bet provides the sportsbook capability underneath: pricing, trading and risk, including bet acceptance and settlement. New backend capability is still built together, and owning the frontend does not change that.
