The Netherlands Gaming Authority has granted Holland Casino a license to offer online games of chance. From next Friday, October 1, 2021, Dutch people can participate in the company’s online games of chance. The casino company wants to offer the Dutch consumer a complete, safe and responsible range of games of chance.

At the moment it is still illegal to offer online games of chance, such as poker and live casino games in the Netherlands. As a result, consumers can only go to providers that are not under the supervision of the Dutch Gaming Authority. This Friday, October 1, the online gambling market will also be cautiously opened in our country. 

From then on, providers that meet the strict requirements of the Gaming Authority may offer games via the internet. They must properly deal with matters such as integrity, policy for the prevention of addiction and money laundering, and also with their own financial management. 

Thanks to this online license, Holland Casino can also fulfill its social mission online and bind Dutch consumers with a safe, attractive and responsible offer. Chairman of the Board Erwin van Lambaart believes that the combination of safe and attractive go hand in hand: ‘Holland Casino was established so that the Dutch can enjoy the thrill of games of chance in a responsible environment. I see it as our responsibility to make that possible online. Our game selection is great and our digital environment looks fantastic – and for good reason. Because if we want to offer the Dutch a good and responsible alternative, we must first make sure that they want to come and play with us.’
