Gaming Realms secures Ontario supply licence

Licensing

Gaming Realms has been awarded an iGaming supplier licence to provide games to the Canadian province of Ontario ahead of the state’s opening of the regulated iGaming market on 4 April.

The developer and licensor of mobile-focused gaming content also said its start to 2022 in terms of revenues has exceeded expectations, giving the management team confidence for the future.

Launching its entire games portfolio in the province of 15mln people, the company said the Ontario licence represents a long-term growth opportunity.

“Our approval marks an important step in the group’s growth trajectory as we focus on expanding and strengthening our global presence and bringing our hugely popular and innovative Slingo content to new audiences,” Michael Buckley, executive chairperson, said.

“Ontario should be a bigger market for Gaming Realms than any of the US states that have regulated so far, so we are very excited to have been awarded our supplier license in this territory.”
