Lottoland Deutschland GmbH, which was founded in Hamburg at the end of 2020 on the initiative of the globally active Lottoland Group, has received a long-term German license for the brokerage of state lotteries and state-licensed lotteries. 

Following the granting of the license, the company was added to the “whitelist” of the Joint Gambling Authority of the German federal states (GGL).

According to the licensing authority, further licenses for sports betting and virtual slot machines will also be granted soon. With these licenses, Lottoland Deutschland will distribute state or state-licensed lotteries in Germany online as a broker and also offer sports betting and virtual slot machines online as an operator.
