Betway sportsbook has confirmed its exit from Brazil’s online sports betting market prior to regulation launch.

Betway was among 100+ international operators to have applied for a license including bet365, Flutter, Betsson, Stake, Novibet and local firms that were accepted by the new regulator.

Betway is operated by Super Groupa NYSE listed holding company of the world’s most popular global Sports and iGaming brands. The group is licensed in multiple jurisdictions, with leading positions in Europe, the Americas and Africa.
