PrizePicks announces $50 million responsible gaming investment

Responsible Gambling

PrizePicks, one of the largest daily fantasy sports operators in the country, recently announced a substantial investment into its responsible gaming tools and programs.

The company announced a $50 million investment into its responsible gaming programs and initiative for fiscal year 2025, which will be used to strengthen the company’s commitment to player protection and safety.

This is the first year the company has publicly announced its responsible gaming investment for a fiscal year.

The $50 million responsible gaming investment will be allocated towards enhanced know-your-customer/anti-money laundering technologies, responsible play tools, responsible gaming-focused advertising, employee training, compliance efforts, and expanded support through the company’s partnership with Kindbridge Behavioral Health.

Kindbridge Behavioral Health is a mental health service provider dedicated to supporting individuals facing challenges related to problem gaming and other mental health issues. PrizePicks announced its partnership with Kindbridge last year, with the company incurring all initial costs of Kindbridge’s support services for its customer-facing employees and player community.

Players on PrizePicks and customer support employees have access to in-depth clinical assessment, clinical review, and care plan development sessions throught the partnership. It also provides customers with access to educational and peer support groups.

“With continued growth and national expansion comes an even greater responsibility to our players,” said Mike Ybarra, CEO of PrizePicks, in the company announcement. “Player protection has been a core pillar of PrizePicks since day one, and this investment reflects our unwavering commitment to responsible gaming. As we bring our innovative products to new states, we’re equally focused on advancing industry-leading standards for safety, transparency, and care.”
