The Brasil Ladies Cup, one of the most traditional competitions on the Brazilian women’s soccer calendar, announced an agreement with Betano for the event’s main sponsorship.

The tournament will be held from October 16th to 19th at the Canindé Stadium in São Paulo. Admission to all matches will be free and will feature the participation of Palmeiras, Grêmio, Peñarol (URU), and Gimnasia y Esgrima (ARG).

In addition to the matches, the organizers will promote parallel activities to encourage the development of women’s soccer in Brazil. Lectures, workshops, and sports clinics focusing on the sport are planned throughout the week of the event. Featuring the participation of major South American teams, the Brasil Ladies Cup also announced its new format: two semifinals, a third-place playoff, and the grand final.

“It’s a great pleasure to have Betano as a partner in a project that not only conveys the excitement of sport, but also a social commitment to women’s soccer. The support of major brands is essential for the sport to continue growing with strength and prominence. This partnership is another important step toward the future we are building,” says Fábio Wolff, a member of the tournament’s organizing committee.

“We are proud to support the Brasil Ladies Cup for the first time. We understand that the project goes far beyond the championship, as it sparks important discussions about women’s sport and its surroundings. We will be present at every stage, contributing our experience and knowledge, and promoting sports participation, which is one of our Social Responsibility pillars,” says Guilherme Figueiredo, Betano’s commercial director in Brazil.
