Danes spent more money on gambling in July. Figures from the Danish Gambling Authority’s latest monthly statistics show that total gambling consumption in July increased by 12.9 percent compared to July 2024.

Revenue has increased significantly compared to DKK562 million recorded in July of the previous year.

Data from the regulatory body Spillemyndigheden indicate that this growth also exceeded the figures from June of this year by 8.4%.

In July 2025, there was an increase in consumption at online casinos of 20.5 percent compared to July 2024. At the same time, there was an increase in betting and land-based (physical) casinos of 6.0 percent and 13.5 percent, respectively. Slot machines experienced a small decrease of -2.5 percent.
