Pennsylvania reports record online revenue in October
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has reported that the combined total revenue generated from all forms of gaming, along with fantasy contests, during October 2025 was $596,970,584, an increase of 20.22% compared to revenue generated in October 2024.
The total revenue from gaming includes all those regulated by the PGCB: retail slot machines and table games; casino-type games offered online (“iGaming”); sports wagering both retail and online.
Highlighting the report was a record amount for revenue generated through iGaming. That figure reached $251,097,586 in October, eclipsing the previous high set in March 2025 of $238,220,161.
Total tax revenue generated collectively through all forms of gaming and fantasy contests was $252,287,937* during October 2025.
Online games generated monthly revenue totaling $251,097,586 during October 2025 compared to $189,027,924 in October 2024, an increase of 32.84%. Within that number, revenue for both online slot machine and table games reached monthly highs.
October 2025, total sports wagering handle was $968,507,712, or 12.86% higher than October 2024 total of $858,148,994. The October 2025 wagering handle was an all-time high eclipsing the $935,530,170 wagered in November 2024.
At the same time, the taxable revenue figure for October 2025 was $60,674,209 or 121.66% over October 2024 when taxable revenue was $27,373,043.
