Brightstar Lottery reported fourth quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.36, exceeding analyst estimates of $0.28 by $0.08, though revenue of $668 million narrowly missed the consensus estimate of $668.4 million.

Revenue increased 3% YoY from $651 million in the prior-year period, driven by 3.5% same-store sales growth led by U.S. multi-state jackpot activity and iLottery expansion.

Adjusted EBITDA reached $304 million, up 5% from $290 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, reflecting strong profit flow-through from elevated U.S. jackpot activity and cost savings from the company’s OPtiMa program.

“Better-than-expected fourth quarter revenue and profit growth reflect the value of our diverse portfolio across geographies and games,” said Vince Sadusky, CEO of Brightstar. “2025 was a transformational year for us. We executed major strategic priorities, including selling IGT Gaming and increasing capital returns to shareholders.”

For the full year 2025, revenue was $2.51 billion, flat compared to the prior year, while adjusted EBITDA declined 4% to $1.12 billion from $1.17 billion.

The company completed the sale of IGT Gaming for approximately $4.1 billion in net cash proceeds on July 1, 2025, using the funds primarily for debt reduction.
