Tennessee sports betting revenue up 2% in March

Tennessee’s online sportsbooks turned in their strongest March on record by handle while extracting noticeably more revenue from each dollar wagered, according to data published by the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council.

Gross wagers reached $562,591,437 in March 2026, edging past March 2025’s figure by 2.55% and lifting Tennessee’s prior March benchmark by roughly $14 million. The more telling shift was on the hold line: at 11.19%, operators converted bets into revenue at a rate nearly two full percentage points above the same month a year earlier, a swing that pushed adjusted gross income to $51,758,965 even as handle growth slowed to a low single-digit pace.

Privilege tax remitted under Tennessee’s 1.85% handle-based model totaled $10,351,793 — the third consecutive March above $10 million. The data closes out a month that also marked a reshaped competitive field, with bet365 completing its first full year of Tennessee operations and prediction-market platforms continuing to operate after a federal injunction issued in February.
