During his time at Logica, Bill oversaw a number of projects, most notably leading a turnaround of the UK business and a transformation of the global finance function. After leaving CGI, Bill spent nine months as Finance Director at Capita plc’s IT Services division before being approached to join Experian. Bill qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC.

James Pizey, who stepped into the role of Interim CFO post Clive Jennings’ departure, will move to the role of Group Financial Controller.

John O’Reilly, Chief Executive of The Rank Group Plc, said: “I am pleased that Bill has agreed to join Rank at this exciting time in the Company’s journey. There is much to be done to deliver our transformational programme and I am confident that Bill is the right person to assist me and the leadership team in delivering a growing business that is fit for the future.

“I would also like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Board, to thank James Pizey for stepping into the CFO role on an interim basis whilst we conducted the search for a permanent CFO.”
